I am a Journalist, Columnist
Abul Kalam Azad, nicknamed Azad but best known as Journalist Azad Or Columnist Azad. was born on 31 January 1978 in Daulatkhan Upazila of Bhola District, Bangladesh. My father was Hedayet Hossain Daimuddin and mother was Afroza Begum. My journalism career began with the national daily Deshbangla, edited by the Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi, a renowned journalist of Bangladesh. After that, he worked for various national dailies of the country. I also wrote columns on contemporary issues in various newspapers. He most recently served as the acting editor of the national daily Ajker Alokito Sakal of Bangladesh. I'm mainly writes against drugs, terrorism, irregularities, corruption, human rights violations and political corruption. He has written several books on contemporary issues, including Ghumanta bibek o banijjik manobta (Sleeping Conscience and Commercial Humanity) and Swapno vonger Artonad (The Cry of Dream Breakers) He currently lives in America. Despite my busy work abroad, I continue to write regularly for first-class Bengali-language newspapers published both at home and abroad.
